Useful at a glance, private by default

A couples widget app that keeps private things private.

Adoring is a couples widget app coming soon for iPhone. Planned widgets show partner time, today’s question, the next-visit countdown, or one shared memory without putting precise location, private answers, or messages on a glanceable screen.

  • Coming soon for iPhone
  • Privacy-aware states
  • Four widget families planned
Adoring Today screen showing two local times, a daily prompt, and a visit countdown

Made for the Home Screen

Useful relationship context, with precise location and private answers left inside the app.

Partner time

Know what part of the day they are in.

A widget can show both local times, offering useful context for couples who wake, work, and wind down on different schedules.

Next visit

Keep the countdown close.

See how long remains until a planned visit without putting travel details, private messages, or exact location on the Home Screen.

Daily prompt

See when today’s question is waiting.

The prompt widget can show that a question or reveal is waiting, then open Adoring when you choose to respond.

A shared memory

Let something good reappear.

A memory or affection widget can bring back one shared moment without turning your relationship into a public display.

Honest status

See when widget information is old or unavailable.

Adoring’s widgets are being designed to label old or unavailable information instead of showing it as current.

One useful tap

Open Adoring in one tap.

Tap a prompt, countdown, presence update, or memory to return to Adoring for the full context.

How it works

Choose what belongs at a glance, then keep the rest inside the app.

  1. 01

Choose the relationship context you want nearby.

Pick a partner-time, visit-countdown, daily-prompt, or shared-memory widget instead of trying to fit every private feature into one surface.

  2. 02

Let the widget show only what belongs there.

Adoring is designed to keep precise location, private answers, and personal messages out of glanceable lock-screen states.

  3. 03

Tap when you want the full context.

The widget opens Adoring, where authentication and the product’s full privacy controls can protect the interaction.

Planned widgets

Partner time, prompts, visits, and memories with honest privacy states.

Partner time and presence context

See both local times and a carefully limited presence state without implying that an old update is current or that location is permanently available.

Daily prompt status

A widget can show that today’s question or mutual reveal is waiting, without displaying either private answer before both people reply.

Visit countdown

Keep the number of days until a shared visit visible while the itinerary, travel details, and private notes remain inside the app.

Memory and affection moments

Bring back one shared moment or gentle affection signal without exposing a private letter or precise location by default.

Safe locked and stale states

Planned widget states account for a locked phone, expired session, paused sharing, stale information, and missing data instead of pretending everything is current.

One-tap routes into Adoring

Each widget opens Adoring, with authentication before sensitive content appears.

What Adoring does not do

A widget should not turn a locked screen into a window on the relationship.

Adoring’s widget system is being designed around what someone could see over your shoulder. Precise location, private answers, and personal messages stay out of default glanceable states.

  • No precise location displayed on the lock screen
  • No private daily answer shown before mutual reveal
  • No stale presence presented as live
  • No promise that Live Activities ship at launch
