Adoring is not yet publicly available in the App Store. This policy covers the live website and describes the current pre-release iPhone implementation. Production authentication, processor settings, App Store privacy disclosures, and retention terms remain subject to completion and verification before release.
Website data
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. Google Analytics can receive page and interaction data, browser and device details, and broad geographic information. The production Google Analytics settings, including Google Signals and advertising features, must be verified before Adoring publishes a final statement about sale, sharing, or profiling.
The interactive games hold selections only in page memory. Choice values clear on reload or navigation and are not attached to an Adoring account or sent to Adoring.
The early-access quiz keeps progress and answer option IDs in this browser so you can resume after a refresh. If you submit the waitlist form, Adoring sends your email address, quiz version, selected option IDs, generated preview IDs, and available acquisition parameters to Supabase. Adoring also sends your email address and waitlist status to Loops, which sends a confirmation email. Your address joins the marketing audience only after you use that confirmation link. The form does not ask for your partner's email or collect free-text relationship answers. Adoring uses this information to manage early-access invitations and understand which planned product areas interest prospective couples.
Waitlist details are retained until you unsubscribe, ask Adoring to delete them, or the early-access programme no longer needs them. Google Analytics receives funnel step and completion events, but the website does not send your email address or quiz selections to Google Analytics.
Data the iPhone app uses
The planned release processes the following data when you choose to use the relevant feature:
- Account and authentication data, including your Supabase account identifier and Sign in with Apple information.
- Your display name, pairing state, relationship-space identifier, and device session.
- Content you create or share, such as answers, letters, game turns, plans, lists, memories, reactions, and check-ins.
- Consent and privacy settings, notification preferences, app-lock settings, and feature state.
- An APNs device token when you enable push notifications.
- Apple subscription and transaction information needed to verify access for both partners.
- Optional location data when you turn location sharing on. The release service coarsens the upload, gives your partner approximate distance rather than your coordinates, and keeps only the latest location point for no more than 24 hours.
How Adoring uses data
Adoring uses this data to authenticate and pair accounts, sync the shared features you choose, send privacy-safe notifications, and verify subscriptions. It also uses the data to provide export and deletion controls and to withhold private or unrevealed content from the other account.
Who processes data
- Apple processes Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, refunds, and push-notification delivery.
- Supabase provides authentication, database, server-function, and synchronization infrastructure for the planned release.
- Loops manages confirmation status and the early-access mailing audience, and delivers waitlist and launch emails.
- Google Analytics processes analytics data for the public website.
The current iPhone repository contains no third-party advertising SDK. Whether Adoring sells or shares personal information is a legal and operational statement that must be confirmed against the final production practices and applicable law. A complete App Store privacy label must still be published and checked against the final production configuration before release.
Privacy between partners
Each person signs in separately. One person cannot consent to location sharing, intimacy features, or another private choice for their partner. Adoring withholds unrevealed answers and locked content until the relevant sharing condition is met. Adult content is disabled for version 1.0.
Retention, export, and deletion
The current pre-release build can prepare a human-readable text export of eligible locally cached content. You can include or omit answers, Lovebox items, memories, and a combined plans category containing dates, lists, milestones, check-ins, and follow-ups; the export uses the display names on the two accounts. Account deletion calls the authenticated deletion service and, when successful, immediately removes access to the account and deletes the active account record. The relationship is unpaired and the other person's account remains active. Deleting an Adoring account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Adoring makes no additional deletion promise here about backup expiry, legal holds, or records co-authored with another account.
Your choices
- Leave location sharing off, pause it, or withdraw access in iOS Settings.
- Choose notification categories and preview behavior, or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- Choose export categories and prepare a text export of eligible locally cached content from the Privacy Center.
- Unpair or permanently delete your account from the account controls.
- Use browser privacy controls or content blockers to limit website analytics.
- Ask Adoring to remove your waitlist entry, or use the unsubscribe option in an early-access email.
